How to play
Rules and tips
- The snake moves on its own in its current direction. Use the arrow keys or the buttons to turn.
- Each piece of food (the red dot) is worth one point and makes the snake one square longer.
- The game ends if the head hits a wall or the snake's own body.
- You can't turn 180° in one move: the snake can't double back into itself.
Tips to play better
- Don't box yourself in: always leave an exit when you turn.
- Once the snake is long, hug the edges and make wide turns.
- Start on Medium speed and move up to Fast once you've found your rhythm.
Controls by input type
- Mouse / trackpad: click the arrow buttons to change direction.
- Touch (phone/tablet): tap the arrow buttons to change direction.
- Keyboard: the arrow keys (or W A S D) change direction; a text notice reports when the game ends and your score.
