Rules and tips
- Each side has a fleet of 5 ships (5, 4, 3, 3, and 2 squares long) hidden in its waters.
- On your turn, fire at a square in enemy waters. Red = hit; white dot = water.
- After a hit, you fire again. After a miss, the turn passes to the computer.
- Whoever sinks the opponent's entire fleet first wins.
Tips to play better
- After a hit, aim at the neighboring squares to find out which way the ship runs.
- To search for ships, fire at spaced-out squares (like a checkerboard pattern). That covers more water with fewer shots.
- A sunk ship suggests the squares around it are probably water.
Controls by input type
- Mouse / trackpad: click a square in enemy waters to fire.
- Touch (phone/tablet): tap a square in enemy waters to fire.
- Keyboard: use Tab to move through enemy waters and Enter to fire; a text notice announces hits and sunk ships.
